About the course: CMG, the leader in enhanced oil recovery simulation, delivers software that is easier to use and provides the most accurate results for compositional, conventional, unconventional and advanced IOR/EOR processes. CMG software is the industry standard for usability, physics, robustness and performance. The purpose of reservoir simulation is to predict field performance and ultimate recovery for various field development scenarios to evaluate the effects on recovery of different operational conditions and compare economics of different recovery methods. The Simulation method is a spatial, 3D approach.
Learning Objective: This course is intended to provide an overview of the fundamentals and applications of modern reservoir simulation. The available data and its incorporation into a data set that represents a coherent reservoir model are given special attention. The course covers the both static & dynamic modelling, PVT modeling, core analysis, history matching etc.
